Philosophy
The natural approach is the overriding theme of Dr. Wu’s practice. Her love for and obsession with chasing healthy beauty led her to the artful and scientific pursuit of plastic surgery the natural way without reliance on artificial substances. Giving the “gift of Wu” means allowing Dr. Wu to share with you her passion for creating beautifully empowering and natural-looking results inspired by your own body.

About Dr. Wu
Dr. Chaowen Wu’s name was carefully chosen by her grandfather, and means “to surpass.” With her name as her guiding principle, Dr. Wu has never stopped striving to be better. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and went on to complete the rigorous dual degree MD-PhD program at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Wu then completed a comprehensive 6-year integrated plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, before pursuing an additional year of Fellowship training to perfect her skills in aesthetic plastic surgery. Through her dedication and hard work, Dr. Wu has become a skilled and respected plastic surgeon who’s committed to delivering exceptional results to her patients.

Fun Facts
Immediately after moving to Houston, TX for her Fellowship, Dr. Wu fell in love with the diverse food and warm weather, which reminded her of her childhood home in Canton, China. She now calls The Woodlands home, and is thrilled to be serving its incredible community.
